The Mongrel's UltraFly ViVi
Here is my UltraFly ViVi. I just love this bird!! She is running
an AR6200, 25A E-Watts ESC, an E-Flight Park 480, a 2200mAh Battery
turning an 11 inch slow fly prop.
She is as fast as I probably would like, and although I could probably change that with an 11X5 inch APC prop, she does handle exceptionally well. The prop gives good vertical and makes a great sound in a dive! :)
The build on this
bird is a bit of a bitch to say the least. She took quite a while
longer than I expected, with a bit of buggering around to get things
nice. The decals could be of better quality and I am thinking of
taking them off and painting her instead. Although I have not seen the
Multiplex Gemini up close, I think it is better built.
That said, she is a great flyer. See for yourself on the video below. I don't know why the vid has come out a little crappy... ahh well... will try agian next week.
