Dam Busting in a P51D
On the weekend I decided to strap a FlyCamOne2 into the cockpit of my P51D and send her out over our dam for some dam busting.I have to say I was a little nervous as I did not know how removing the canopy and installing the camera would do to the handling of the aircraft. I also did not know how the DX7 was going to cope over the water. I have heard it can go all bad.
You will see in the Vid below that it took a little while to get the bird trimmed out. She almost went in at one point, so from then on I was shaking like a leaf!! You will also notice that the landing zone is quite small.
