altThey say that when it comes to flying it is not IF you crash, but WHEN you crash, and that WHEN for me was recently on the weekend when my beloved UltraFly Vivi Biplane bounced! I was coming in for landing and was in a nose down attitude when a gust of wind pushed her into the ground. (we were flying in less than ideal conditions)

She basically hit the ground dead flat on her belly. The result was a clean break in the fuse.

The repair was simple enough. I used some carbon rod to reinforce the joint, and hot glue took care of the join. I then used some tape to hide the join and add that little extra strength, and she is as good as new.

She will fly again!
